Another Viewpoint
This was the view of 125th St. in Harlem from the train to Grand Central this week. Every time I take the train into the city, I marvel at the range of views from an ant's view to a birds-eye. Whenever we view our world from a different perspective, we can gain unexpected insights. The two women in the foreground had an entirely different view and experience of the same street as I did. A mountain looks small or large depending on your view.
Sometimes when we feel stuck or need a solution to a problem, taking another viewpoint, turning the issue upside down, inside out or sideways will result in a new view and perhaps a new solution. Don't wait until you have a problem, crouch down and study your home from a pet's view, lie in the grass and examine a ant crawling. peek out the window of a airplane or train or car. All will be different. In some ways, it's like being a child again; when this type of viewing with curiosity came naturally. It's this same curiosity that writers mine for stories.

You are right! Another viewpoint is the solution! And great photo, btw.
I can't find Cat Wisdom. I am on a different computer and it is not saved on my Firefox settings on this computer. When I Google Cat Wisdom, it doesn't come up.

I thought of this post today while I was out hiking with my wife. We were on a gorge trail which affords views from both the bottom and top of a deep ravine. Entirely different perspectives of the same magnificent landscape.
