360 Vision
Photo quote de jour

Duality is a theme I often explore in my photography. The verdigris patina on this bronze sculpture spoke to me of age and stagnation, while the feet balanced on a sphere (the world?) echoed movement. It was a nice enough view of the entire fig-leafed torso, but what if we looked in the opposite direction, down instead up? What if we played with the shape of the image, turned the entire image verdigris and added different words? Would it be entirely different or a twist on the same theme? Same sculpture. Only two views out of a possible 360 degrees, not to mention, a million other views. What if we looked at everything that way?
Enough brain teasing. Have a stellar weekend!

You always make me think outside the box!

It's good to shake up our perception of things. What we see depends on where we're looking. An inch to the right or the left, and we're confronted with a whole new sense of reality.

Right. It takes very little to gain a fresh perspective.
