Just back from Manhattan on steamy night and had to share this shot of Chrysler Building decked out in red, white and blue. It doesn't get more American than this.

What a lovely picture, Layla! You're right, it doesn't get more American than that. I have a quiet day planned, or unplanned to be more exact. Will probably spend most of it outdoors somewhere walking about.
