Raspberry Miracles
Photo quote de jour

We have raspberry bushes scattered all over our property from when it used to be a farm. This year, some divine force dipped them in invisible Miracle-Gro and the raspberry patches exploded in flowers. I took this future bumper crop as an omen of abundance, which is turning out to be an ad hoc theme this week. The Boomer Muse celebrated 30,000 hits in June. I'm grateful for every single visitor. It was my intention to inspire and amuse when I began this blog almost three years ago and it remains my joy de jour. I hope it spreads more joy in the years to come.
Every day, I go out and marvel at the raspberry miracles. It's hard to believe something so prickly could transform into edible juicy fruit, but that's how transformation of every sort works. It goes through prickly , uncomfortable stages of growth. We can't always know what the next stage will look like but if we trust and keep going, each step reveals more.

The unripe green or white raspberries look unappetizing and just as well. They aren't ready. For those of you undergoing personal transformation, remember, it takes time. If you harvest unripe berries you'll only be rewarded with a tummy ache. Every stage has it's own beauty and purpose. Whatever stage you're at; is exactly where you're supposed be. I don't often ask to share the love, but if you like it, there is share button in the sidebar and a drop down menu of all your favorite places to share. Thank-you and have a juicy summer!

True, but I've always maintained treasures are right under our collective noses.
