Forget Regret
Photo quote de jour

This moody Monday image is an experimental self-portrait with a message. I rarely leave without a camera or at least a camera phone because you never know when inspiration strikes. For the past week, the most brilliant example of graffiti I've seen in years caught my attention, but each time I passed it, I didn't have my camera. On Saturday, determined to capture it, I drove up to it and my stomach dropped. Someone had painted over it. Too late. Regret washed over me. How many times has something like that happened to you? To have opportunity slip away? Never mind your bucket list of things to do before you die. Forget regret. Think about one thing you really want to do this summer and do it.

Thanks for the reminder. It's so easy to keep putting it off.

Loving these photos, Layla! Frankly, I have no more regrets for what I haven't done than for what I have. Regretting is such a waste of time.
