I'm eager to try some of the shrimp recipes in Bon Appetit. Cool shrimp summer rolls anyone? The warm weather begs for cool drinks and hot reads. My inner escapist is loving the more sophisticated Eat Pray Love style memoir, titled Sideways on a Scooter by journalist Miranda Kennedy. She lived in India for five years and while I've just waded into the shallows of her evocative story, she's convinced me to hop on a plane to India (not now, it's monsoon season!).
