Hot Dog! Three Years Later
The other day, I had a hankering for a hotdog from Walter's. I blogged about the famous hotdog joint three years ago, three years ago http://blog.laylamorganwilde.com/2008/09/22/hot-dog-heaven.aspx and I just about fainted: I've been blogging most days for three years. And if that was the best hotdog ever, why did I wait three years to taste one again? Talk about an aniversary wake-up call. Hotdogs as a spiritual teacher? If I've learned anything in the past three years about life, myself and the pursuit of happiness, it's this: anything is possible but get off your ass and do it. Three years goes by a flash.

While the hotdog the other day wasn't the best hotdog from my memory, the blog post was pretty darn good. It reminded me why I blog and how far I've come. It's good to stand back at life's markers and reflect. But, the next time I find something that good, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it and not wait for three years to enjoy it again. What about you? Any wake-up calls lately?
*Please excuse our appearance. I'm monkeying about with a new blog design which will hopefully be ready in time for the official three year anniversary at the end of the month. I'm still searching for that elusive 25th hour in the day. Do you know where it's hiding?

You have an uncanny (or maybe not!) ability to always come up with the exact post I need for today.
Happy almost three-year-blogging anniversary. That post from three years ago was exceptional!

Hi Layla,
Congratulations on 3 years of committment to a unique brand of insight in your special peace & Love sauce.
Some vintage info in this one...The Sunday drivers tag blended with the Nike slogan here in modernity! Nice work girl and thanks for staying True.
