Every day 40,000 children die of hunger. The superpowers now have more then 50,000 nuclear warheads, enough to destroy our planet many times over. Despite wretched stats of suffering, there is beauty among the ruins. The sun rose this morning as it does every day bringing hope. Life is both horrible and miraculous. Today, allow every action you take bring closer to where you want to go. We have a long way to go but is Wednesday's child full of woe? It doesn't have to be. Look for the spark of light in the darkness. I find in the space between breathes during meditation and when I hear my cat purr. Where might you find your spark today?
