Rotten Tomatoes
Photo quote de jour

It's that time of the year when the last of the garden tomatoes beg to be picked and made into sauce. I was picking through tomatoes today and made a pomodoro sauce to be frozen and enjoyed in the dead of winter. When things are rotting we can cut away the rot and preserve what's good. Or, we can allow what's rotten to be mulched and transformed into something new. Either way, rotten things aren't always rotten.

This is deeper than meets the eye.
