Once in a while, the books gods bestow a special magic. I'm blessed to be bathing  under the spell of not one but two new magical books. One is by a best-selling master storyteller and the other by a debut novelist. I'm alternating between their two worlds, not wanting either to end.

How does beloved writer (almost 7 million Facebook fans) Paulo Coelho follow a book like The Alchemist?  Very mindfully.  He takes us on another allegorical journey of self-discovery with
his new novel Aleph. This needs no review. Just read it.

The other novel also needs no words to describe it. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, grabbed me from the first page and you know the rest. The book jacket blurbs are spot on.
