Inspired Breathing

The word "breathe" is from the Latin word inspirare or inspire. To breathe and inspire are forever linked in a creative dance. With every breath we take, life force or energy enters and with every exhalation we let go of what we don't need.

I often get creative inspiration on walks in nature where deep breathing comes naturally, but we can do it any where, any time. Not only is deep breathing a way to access our creativity but it's a tool to improved over all health. Think of deep slow breathing as a portable and free relaxation tool. When we focus on this kind of breathing we can reverse the damage of stress. When we're stressed, Adrenaline and noradrenaline raise our heart rate and blood pressure and produce damaging free radicals in our body. Deep slow breathing increases the release of nitric oxide which dilates blood vessels spreading relaxation throughout your entire body
reversing the damaging effect of the free radicals which sounds pretty creative to me.
