New York Style Parking
New Yorkers have the dubious honor of being some of the worst drivers short of Mumbai. Part of the reason is New Yorkers don't have to drive. With cabs within whistling distance and a network of excellent subways, trains and buses, who needs to drive? And parking? That's another story. I know the Mini Cooper is easy to park but only a New Yorker would have the balls to try this "New York style parking".

And to end our week with a focus on the arts in New York, I give you this "sign of the times". Some neighborhoods like Chelsea and Soho are so inundated with art galleries, it's easy to mistake a retail space for one. Have a safe and happy weekend!

The difficulty of finding a parking space in the city sometimes drives one to maniacal extremes. I can remember literally leaving my car in the middle of the street once out of sheer frustration and disgust. When I woke up the next day, it had been towed, but I didn't even care. In fact I felt relieved to be free of the damn thing.

What a riot - the Mini Cooper photo. Yes, NY must be the most difficult place in the US to park and in many ways, more difficult than Beantown to drive in.
