Hanukkah (part 2) Ghosts of Holidays Past
In case, you missed the re-published post. I dove head first into the holiday archives and found this Hanukkah post from 2008. There is nothing like photographic evidence to mark progress or transgressions. I couldn't help but edit a typo, a sentence... oh dear, I thought re-cycling post was supposed to save time. I still bake but it won't be as ambitious as that assortment. Our mailman, Stan, is retiring this year. After ten years of the best and most cheerful delivery, I will miss him. I still see a therapist (in New York, it's like seeing a hairdresser) but not the one mentioned. And I believe more than ever that, "It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."
Happy Yule and Happy Hanukkah!
May you be at peace,
May your heart remain open.
May you awaken to the light of your own true nature.

Wow, those cookies look amazing. I'm glad you're still making time to bake this year - think of it as therapy, only cheaper

Thanks! Baking is therapeutic, less so when rushed.
