Dance Into 2012

On a unseasonably warm first day of 2012, these water droplets in my garden reminded me of the quote: let your life dance like dew at the tip of a leaf.  They contained so much life force and possibility as they shimmered and danced in the sunlight. Let's dance and move, take action; swing and sway to the rhythm of joy this year. You don't need to look far. It might be in front of your nose.

I feel that I do not like Sweden anymore. I think Americfans have had a highly romanticized view of Scandinavia; I know from a Danish friend of mine (he was on G) that Denmark has a lot of fascist sentiment and I am rather shocked that Sweden would have considered what the protagonist had written was libelous; Americans feel that Scandinavia is an ultra liberal place...and it is not...I saw this on Instant play last night and the sequels are on instant play, too. I have heard from other people that the American version is Hollywoodish; I will probably prefer the Swedish. I do think Daniel Craig is an excellent choice in the American version; he resembles the Swedish actor greatly. Larsson's life and his parents and grandparents' lives were so tragic. I am so glad he's written of everything he's written of. Very sad he passed so early in his own life.

A friend of mine just saw the American version and said apart from Daniel Craig, the casting was so so. Did you know that Larrsson's girlfriend has a memoir out?

Larsson's GF has a memoir? Wow. Must get it. The casting of Lizbeth Salander in the Swedish was superb. The American version someone I know wrote is even more brutal than the Swedish, but says the film technique is better, with smoother cuts. I think I will prefer the Swedish version, because darnitall, Larsson was Swedish.

What is the memoir called by Larsson's GF or what is her name?
